  • Composing Stories Through Sound

    Girish Hothur is a Bangalore-based music director and singer who started his career in film scoring in early 2016. He has composed music for numerous short films, corporate videos, and advertisements for brands such as Paytm and Katha book.

     

    Aside from his film scoring work, Girish is enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge of music production through online courses and his YouTube channel.

     

    Girish's accomplishments include being one of the music directors for the critically acclaimed Kannada film Kathaasangama. His background music for the short film Paduvarahalli won the state award in 2018, and he received the Best Music Director award for the same film at the Stoned Monkey International Film Festival 2018 and the Bangalore Short Film Festivals.

     

    Girish has also composed the college anthem for Surana college and received recognition for his songs on his YouTube channel. He has worked on four other feature films, including 1888, which is about demonetization and is currently streaming on Bookmyshow. The film was nominated at the prestigious Dada Saheb Palke Awards(2023). Other projects he has worked on, such as Boogatha, Aura, and Tenant, are expected to be released soon.

    Jagath Venkat is a Bangalore-based fashion film director and visual storyteller with over a decade of experience in the industry. A graduate of MFi, Chennai (Cinematography), he began his career as a Fashion Photographer at AJIO, where he honed his eye for editorial aesthetics before transitioning into full-time directing. Over the past eight years, Jagath has collaborated with leading brands such as The Collective, Puma, H&M, Myntra, Arrow, US Polo, Caprese, AND, Wrangler, and Craftsvilla, crafting campaigns, lookbooks, and fashion films that merge cinematic depth with cutting-edge style. Known for his bold visual direction and ability to capture emotion through movement and texture, Jagath continues to shape the narrative of contemporary Indian fashion through a lens that’s both raw and refined.
